Angie is a primarily self-directed artist who has taken courses online and through VIU tiwšɛmawtxʷ, qathet Art Centre, Tidal Art Centre, and qathet Art & Wares. She most often paints with acrylics but as she’s recently been exploring genealogy, she felt inspired to create a whimsical art piece with the buttons she’d inherited from her Scottish Canadian gramma Nancy who passed in 1994.
